so. I love the city at night. this city...as crazy as it is, as smog filled as it can be...i still love it. i love to walk outside and see the lights, the buildings that rise above everything, all light up...
it rained tonight...everything is damp and a little cleaner...
it feels strange to walk into a room and feel tall. i'm 5 feet, 1 inch. that's pretty short at home.... sometimes i can walk into a room and i'm eye level, or above eye level to all these ladies standing around...it usually happens on prenatal days when all the moms are lined up waiting their turn to be checked...listen to their baby's heartbeat, etc. i remember the first time i could look down on the top of somebody's head...an amazing experience...and this lady was older than me, the mother of four kids....strange to think...she was 25 i think, and now i'm almost 25...can't imagine having 4 kids, let alone one.
